(Natalie Jones)
1 egg lightly beaten
1/2 c soft bread crumbs
2 Tbs chopped onion
1/2 tsp celery salt
1/8 tsp garlic salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 lb ground beef
2 Tbs flour
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1 big can cream of mushroom soup
Mushrooms (I dont like them, but Dad does:) )
3/4 c water
1/3 c sour cream
Hot Cooked Egg Noodles
Combine first 6 ingredients. Defrost beef if you need to and mix in with mixture well. Shape into balls. Coat meatballs in flour (usually brown paper baggie to shake or just roll in a bowl). Brown meatballs in a large skillet. Drain all excess grease. Return meatballs to pan. Add cream of mushroom soup and water over meatballs. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 20-25 min or until meat is done stirring occassionally. Stir in sour cream. Heat until sour cream is hot, but DO NO BOIL. Serve over noodles.
You can sautee the mushrooms and then add them into the sauce or serve them on top separately.
