Rolls (Texas Roadhouse Copycat)

Start these in the early afternoon so they have time to rise before dinner.

1/4 c. Very warm water
2 1/2 tsp. Yeast
1/4 c. Sugar
Combine and let sit until foamy.
Then add....
1 1/2 T. Melted butter
1 egg
1 c. Milk
Mix, then add...
3 1/2 c. White flour
1 tsp. Salt
Knead until and add a little flour until the dough makes a nice ball without being sticky. Cover with cling wrap or a towel. Let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Flatten and shape into a rectangle. Cut into 15 even pieces. Shape each one into a ball. Set in a buttered 9x13 pan. Cover with cling wrap or towel and let them rise again until doubled in size, about 1 hour. (Setting them in a sunny window helps them rise faster.)
Bake 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Until the tops are golden brown.

Honey Butter
1 cube softened butter
2 T. Powdered sugar
3 T. Honey
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

This recipe makes great cinnamon rolls too.
